Who we are

New Idea Software Services Limited (“NISS”, “we”) runs this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 14842715, and our registered office is 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.

What we collect and why

When you send us a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, company (if you give one), what you’re interested in and your message. We use them to reply and to discuss any work that follows. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or taking steps at your request before a contract.

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics tells us which pages are visited, how people arrive, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location. We use this to improve the site. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Our hosting keeps basic technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure.

Cookies

We set no analytics cookies unless you choose “Accept”. If you do, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which last up to two years. We also set one cookie, niss_analytics, to remember your choice for six months. These cookies are shared with time.niss.ltd, the Time by NISS app, so you’re only asked once.

You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics cookies.

Google Analytics is set up without advertising features or Google signals.

Who we share it with

Resend sends contact form messages to our inbox. Google provides Google Analytics. Amazon Web Services hosts the site in Ireland. Resend and Google may process data in the United States, under the UK’s data protection safeguards for international transfers.

We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, or to stop using it. Email hello@niss.ltd. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
